I worked from home today. Clementine was at daycare but Gabriel and Kevin are both out of school. So that I could concentrate, the rule was no T.V. and no video games for the G-man. Quiet self-reliant entertainment was the goal.
The house had been quiet for a good long while when Gabriel came to find me.
"Guess what, Mom?!?!" he said, looking very pleased with himself.
"What?"
"I'm playing Angry Birds!"
"But I said no video games!"
"Come see, come see, Mom!"
With a bunch of leftover Amazon boxes, he created a real-life Angry Birds game.
I gotta give the kid some points for ingenuity.
